C’est à la manière d’une joute poétique que Sébastien Arrighi entretient une conversation intime avec certains paysages, loin des villes et des nouvelles formes de vie qui en émergent. Sur ces territoires en quête de réenchantement, la vision quasi mystique du photographe, révèle une forme d’amabilité au monde qui semble disparaître au profit de nouvelles conditions matérielles, économiques et sociales. L’espace délimité dans lequel se jouent ces différentes scènes, loin d’être neutre, interroge sur notre façon de pratiquer et d’investir le monde rural. Terreau qui porte les traces de décisions passées et en dévoile les vestiges quand ils ne sont pas enfouis sous de nouveaux espaces.
(EN) It is in the manner of a poetic joust (love song) that Sébastien Arrighi has maintained an intimate conversation with some landscapes. As a re-discoverer, he combines his experience of the territory with various explorations far from the cities, far from the new forms of life that are emerging on the threatens its enchantment. This is almost a mystical vision of rural territories, in its most discreet appearance, reveals a form of kindness to the world that seems to disappear in favour of new material, economic and social conditions. The delimited space in which these different scenes are played out, far from being neutral, questions how we behave in and interact within the world. The landscape bears traces and reveals remains of past decisions rather than burying them under new spaces.
